Some NFL rookies receive guaranteed money.

All first-round picks receive a four-year contract — with a fifth-year option — and guaranteed money in their contracts. Players drafted between the second and seventh rounds — and undrafted free agents — have varying terms in their contracts, including whether there’s guaranteed money.
