Four NFL coaches are tied for the most Super Bowl losses with four apiece: Bud Grant, Dan Reeves, Don Shula, and Marv Leavy.

Shula is the only one of the four coaches to win a Super Bowl. He went 2-4 in six appearances with the Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins.

Grant, Reeves, and Leavy, each went 0-4. Both Grant and Leavy lost all four games with the same teams โ€” the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills, respectively โ€” while Reeves lost three with the Denver Broncos and one with the Atlanta Falcons.

Two other coaches have three losses apiece: Bill Belichick (6-3) and Tom Landry (2-3).
