2025 NFL Mock Draft: Predictions For Every First-Round Pick After The Combine

Miami quarterback Cam Ward is the NFL betting favorite to be drafted first overall at -225.

But are we even sure which team is going to end up making the first overall pick? The Tennessee Titans currently own that selection, and while they certainly do need a quarterback, they have plenty of other pressing needs. And because of that, Tennessee could end up trading down and letting another franchise โ€“ Iโ€™m looking at you, Giants โ€“ make the first pick.

But in this mock draft following the NFL Combine, Iโ€™m not accounting for trades of any kind. If every team were to stay put, this is how I think the 2025 NFL Draft should go.

2025 Mock Draft: NFL Top Prospects

Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter To The Titans

Abdul Carter is the best prospect in this draft class. At 6-foot-3, 250 pounds, he has unique explosiveness. His film indicates he could be an elite pass rusher for a decade, and players like that are rare.

Based on public information, Iโ€™m not worried about the stress fracture in his foot, particularly in the long-term. I also think he is too talented for the Titans to pass up on him.

Colorado CB Travis Hunter To The Browns

Travis Hunter won the Heisman Trophy for good reason. Not only was he in the top five in several statistical categories as a receiver, he was a top-notch cornerback. I would personally let him play some offense and defense if I were an NFL coach โ€“ itโ€™s probably for the best that Iโ€™m not โ€“ but letโ€™s pretend he ends up focusing on defense.

Hunter and Carter are the two best prospects in this draft class, and they are in a tier of their own. Could the Browns take a quarterback here, as many are predicting? Absolutely. But to me, Hunter is another fantastic player and shouldnโ€™t drop further than this, no matter what the Brownsโ€™ needs are.

Miami QB Cam Ward To The Giants

We finally get the first quarterback off the board. Itโ€™s possible the Giants make a trade to climb up and get Cam Ward, and I think they would be ecstatic to take him if he fell to No. 3 overall.

Ward has the best arm in this class, and he also has a mobility that will surely help him at the pros. He began his collegiate career at Incarnate Word, then thrived at Washington State before becoming a Heisman finalist at Miami, and heโ€™s succeeded everywhere heโ€™s gone. I think the Giants would be a perfect landing spot for him, as I believe that coaching staff would help him make a smooth transition to the NFL.

Michigan DL Mason Graham To The Patriots

With those first three players off the board, the draft starts to become a bit more interesting. Thereโ€™s a number of directions the Patriots could go with this pick, but I think new head coach Mike Vrabel will want to build in the trenches and will want to go with Mason Graham.

Graham was a first-team All-American in 2024 and was a finalist for the Bednarik Award, which goes to the countryโ€™s best defensive player. At 6-3, 296 pounds with a motor like his, New England could build a defense around Graham.

LSU OL Will Campbell To The Jaguars

Many believe Will Campbell is the best offensive line prospect in this class, and I donโ€™t disagree. At 6-6, 319 pounds, he has the makeup of an All Pro in my mind. He could end up being moved to guard, but no matter where he goes, I think he could be a staple of a good O-line.

The Jaguars need help in their secondary, so Iโ€™m sure they would love to draft Travis Hunter. But theyโ€™ll also want to protect Trevor Lawrence and better establish their ground game in 2025, so I think this would be the best direction to go.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders To The Raiders

Shedeur Sanders seems destined to be a Raider to me. A Heisman finalist, he is an excellent player who showcased a deep understanding of the game and impressive accuracy during his career at Colorado.

He would be a great pick for Las Vegas as the team begins the Pete Carroll era. The Raiders need a quarterback to build around, and they probably wouldnโ€™t have to trade up to get one here.

Georgia LB Jalon Walker To The Jets

Jalon Walker could be an EDGE or an off-ball linebacker, so he would have to find the right situation for him to be successful. Landing with the Jets, who now have former Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn as their head coach, would be an ideal landing spot as they could help set him up for success.

Walker won the Butkus Award, which goes to the best linebacker in the FBS while leading his team with 10.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks in 2024. I have a feeling he would be a highly productive player in New York.

Penn State TE Tyler Warren To The Panthers

Is Tyler Warren the best prospect in this class? Probably not. Is he one of the most fun to watch? Absolutely.

A tight end is already asked to block and be a pass-catcher, but Warren is even more versatile than that. He played as a wildcat quarterback at Penn State and was exceptional whenever the ball was in his hands.

And to me, the Panthers badly need some offensive firepower if they really want to see if Bryce Young can be a quarterback of the future. Carolina could go with a wide receiver here, but Warren is a fantastic prospect who would elevate this offense in myriad ways.

Georgia EDGE Mykel Williams To The Saints

Mykel Williams still needs to refine his game, but he possesses a ton of upside. He wasnโ€™t a regular starter for Georgia, but he was still second on the team โ€“ behind only Jalon Walker โ€“ with five sacks to go with 8.5 TFLs in 2024. And considering the Saints were in the bottom half of the league in terms of total sacks, a player like Williams could provide a spark for them in their first year with Kellen Moore as head coach.

Missouri OL Armand Membou To The Bears

There is one clear and obvious team need above all others for the Bears, and thatโ€™s help along the offensive line. If Chicago really wants to set Caleb Williams up to be the type of quarterback many believed he could be, heโ€™s got to have more time in the pocket. The Bears allowed a league-worst 68 sacks in 2024.

The Bears would be ecstatic if Will Campbell dropped this far, but if he doesnโ€™t, Armand Membou would be a great prospect as well. While playing primarily at right tackle, Membou has the strength, athleticism, and attention to fundamentals to make him worthy of a top-10 pick.
