Drafted No. 103 overall in 2017 by the New Orleans Saints, defensive end Trey Hendrickson has emerged as one of the top players at his position in the NFL.
Trey Hendricksonย Salary
Hendrickson was drafted by the Saints but signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021. Out of Florida Atlantic, Hendrickson played out the first four years of his career with the Saints before moving to Cincinnati.
Hendrickson inked a four-year, $60,000,000 contract with the Bengals, including a $10,000,000 signing bonus, $16,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $15,000,000.
Trey Hendricksonย Cap Hit
The 28-year-old will carry a $15,476,460 cap hit in 2023.
Trey Hendricksonย Potential Extension
After spending the first four years of his career with the New Orleans Saints, Hendrickson found a new home in 2021 when he joined the Bengals. Despite being drafted in the third round back in 2017, Hendrickson is now considered one of the league leaders as a defensive end.
Hendrickson is still signed for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, but he’ll have a chance to once again get paid as a 30-year-old. Hendrickson sits just outside the top ten in salary at his position, and there’s merit in expecting him to cash in once again as a free agent in 2025.
