Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa signed a massive extension on Friday, July 26, becoming the latest modern NFL quarterback to join the $200 million club.

Tua Tagovailoa Contract

On July 26, Tua Tagovailoa signed a four-year contract extension reportedly worth $212.4 million.

Tagovailoa is playing the 2024 season on the fifth-year team option attached to his rookie deal. The mega-extension will kick in beginning in 2025.

Tua Tagovailoa Salary

Tua Tagovailoa will collect $23.17 million in salary for the 2024 season.

From 2025-28, over the life of his new contract extension, Tagovailoa will be paid an average annual salary of $53.1 million.

Tua Tagovailoa Guaranteed Money

Tua Tagovailoa’s 2024 contract extension reportedly includes $167 million in guaranteed money.
