AT&T Stadium opened on May 27, 2009. Less than two years later, AT&T Stadium hosted Super Bowl XLV on February 6, 2011.

The Dallas Cowboys played their first-ever home game at AT&T Stadium on August 21, 2009. It was a preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.

The AT&T Stadium capacity is recorded as 80,000, making it one of the largest stadiums in North America. Itโ€™s the third-largest NFL stadium in the league.

Because AT&T Stadium is a popular stadium in a large metroplex, it is a popular location to hold major events from other sports, like the 2030 Final Four.

Is AT&T Stadium the Biggest NFL Stadium?

No, AT&T Stadium is not the biggest stadium in the NFL. That honor belongs to MetLife Stadium, which has a reported capacity of 82,500.
