The Florida Swing on the PGA Tour continued with the Arnold Palmer Invitational from Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge just outside Orlando, March 2-5.
It was a designated event, which meant a star-studded field.
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge challenged the players with firm and fast conditions and a bit of wind.
In a thrilling finish on Sunday, Kurt Kitayama picked up his first career PGA Tour win. He finished at 9-under, one shot better than Rory McIlroy and Harris English.
A number of players had a chance to win on the back nine in the final round, making for an exciting finish. Kitayama made a clutch birdie on 17 to give him the win.
With it being a designated event, the purse was $20 million.
