Following the shortest offseason in sports, golf betting returned at the Fortinet Championship.
It was the first official event of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season and it was similar to how last season began.
Max Homa pulled out a one-stroke victory in Napa, as he defended his title.
Homa finished the week at 16-under, which was one shot ahead of Danny Willett. The 31-year-old chipped in for birdie on the final hole which ultimately gave him the win after Willett missed a four-footer.
The purse was $8 million (up from $7 million a year ago).
