The Masters is not only one of the best golf tournaments of the year but also a sign of spring for those who live in cold weather climates with long winters.

It’s also one of the best weeks of the year for golf betting, with even the casual sports fan taking a peek at Masters golf odds.

The tournament is always played at Augusta National, which is kept in pristine condition, and the setup allows for some tremendous drama with plenty of birdie and eagle opportunities but also the chance to post a big number at any time.

When Is the Masters 2023?

The 2023 Masters will be played Thursday, April 6 through Sunday, April 9 at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

The annual Champions Dinner will be Tuesday, April 4, and the Par-3 Contest the following day, Wednesday, April 5.

Coverage for the tournament will be on Masters Live, ESPN and CBS.

Who Won the Masters in 2022?

Scottie Scheffler earned his first career major victory at the Masters in 2022. The 25-year-old finished the tournament at 10-under, which was three shots ahead of second place (Rory McIlroy).

Scheffer controlled the tournament from his second round until the very end. He made very few mistakes and never lost focus on the way to a record $2.7 million payout. It was his fourth win in six tournaments.

He also became the fifth golfer to enter Augusta National ranked No. 1 in the world and go on to win the Masters, joining Ian Woosnam (1991), Fred Couples (1992), Tiger Woods (2001-02) and Dustin Johnson (2020).
