- Jake Knapp won his first career PGA Tour event.
For the only time this season, the PGA Tour was in Mexico Feb. 22-25 for the Mexico Open at Vidanta.
The event moved up a few months on the calendar, as it was at the end of April last year.
It was not a PGA Tour signature event, and before the Florida Swing, so a lot of the biggest stars skipped the event. With that said, defending champion Tony Finau headlined the field.
Rookie Jake Knapp earned his first career PGA Tour win. He finished at 19-under, which gave him a two-shot win.
Knapp led by four going into Sunday following a 63 in the third round.
The purse was $8.1 million.
