  • The Memorial Tournament is June 1-4 from Muirfield Village.
  • It has a major-like feel, so scores won’t be very low.
  • Prop bets are a good alternative to outright winner bets.

There are a number of different markets each week for golf betting.

Most people will focus on outright winners, but prop bets are a good alternative because you can pick players to finish inside the top five, 10, 20, etc. These markets are a good way to find some value.

For example, this week Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm are big favorites compared to the rest of the field, so it may be worth looking at some players in the next tier to finish inside the top five or even top 10.

Below are my best prop bets for the Memorial Tournament.

The Memorial Tournament 2023: Best Prop Bets

Justin Thomas Top-10 Finish +225

It hasn’t been the year Thomas expected, as he’s only logged two top-10 finishes. The 30-year-old hasn’t been able to put everything together for all four rounds, but it does seem like he’s close.

This could be the week, as he has played solid at Muirfield Village in the past, including three top 10s.

Jordan Spieth Top-20 Finish +125

This pick is all about value. It seems like there is an overreaction to his wrist injury and missed cut at last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge. If the wrist was still an issue, he would not be teeing it up this week.

Spieth has three straight top-20 finishes at the event, which makes this bet feel even better.

Shane Lowry Top-20 Finish +175

Lowry always seems to show up on leaderboards at tough courses, and this week should be no different. He’s a solid ball striker and is good at grinding out pars when he needs to.

The 36-year-old hasn’t had the greatest of seasons by his standards, but he is coming off a T-12 at the PGA Championship.
