The course is one of the longer courses on Tour at 7,438 yards, but over the years the players who keep the ball in the fairway have had more success than players who hit the ball the farthest.
The vast majority of holes are pretty straightforward with tree-lined fairways, and the only real tricky part is navigating the Texas wind.

Rickie Fowler First-Round Leader +3000
What a story this would be. Fowler’s only way into the Masters is by winning this week. He’s one of the best players in the field and he could very well go low in his opening round to set the stage for an exciting weekend.
Will Gordon First-Round Leader +6600
Gordon is worth taking a look at since he currently is fifth on the PGA Tour in first-round scoring average (68.67). He doesn’t have the greatest history at this event — 78th in his only appearance — but his play in the first round this year is too much to ignore, especially with this field.
Dylan Frittelli First-Round Leader +10000
Yes, this is a bit of a long shot, but Frittelli shot a second-round 66 a year ago on his way to finishing T-9. The 32-year-old is struggling of late with three missed cuts in his last four events, but all it takes is one good round to win this bet.
