- Peter Malnati won for the second time on the PGA Tour.
The PGA Tour’s Florida Swing continued with the Valspar Championship from the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Even though it was not a PGA Tour signature event, the field was pretty strong, including Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns and defending champion Taylor Moore.
In an exciting tournament, Peter Malnati came out the winner. He finished at 12-under, which gave him a two-shot win. The final round saw six different players have at least a share of the lead.
This was Malnati’s second PGA Tour win. The first came back in 2015.
The purse was $8.4 million.
