- The Valspar Championship was March 16-19.
- It had a $8.1 million purse.
- Taylor Moore's winner's share was $1,458,000.
Following two designated events, the PGA Tour was back to a regular tournament, but some of the top players still played the Valspar Championship and it was a terrific tournament.
Taylor Moore shot a 4-under 67 in the final round to come from behind and win for the first time on the PGA Tour. It was the 29-year-old’s 46th official PGA Tour event.
Adam Schenk and Jordan Spieth battled the entire back-nine, but Spieth bogeyed the 16th and 18th holes and Schenk the 18th hole to allow Moore to come away with the victory.
Moore was the only player in the top five of the final leaderboard without a bogey on the back nine of Sunday’s final round.
He entered the week with +5000 golf odds to win.
The purse was $8.1 million.
