What’s a Round Leader Bet in Golf Betting?

A round leader bet in golf betting refers to a wager placed on which player will lead the tournament at the end of a specific round, rather than at the end of the entire event.

Golf tournaments typically consist of four rounds, and this type of bet focuses on the player’s performance within just one round, often the first, second, or third round.

For example, if you placed a bet on Rory McIlroy to be the first-round leader of the Masters and he was in first place at the end of the day Thursday, the bet would win. How McIlroy does the rest of the tournament would not matter.

These bets are more popular during the majors, rather than a typical PGA Tour event.
