What Is the Course Record at Oakmont, Lowest U.S. Open Round?

The course record at Oakmont Country Club, the host of the 2025 U.S. Open, is 63.

It was set by Johnny Miller in the final round back in 1973.

Miller hit all 18 greens and won the tournament.

Lowest U.S. Open Round

The lowest U.S. Open round ever recorded is a 62.

Xander Schauffele and Rickie Fowler shot 62 in the first round of the 2023 U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club.

Prior to that, it was 63, done by six players: Johnny Miller (1973), Jack Nicklaus (1980), Tom Weiskopf (1980), Vijay Singh (2003), Justin Thomas (2017) and Tommy Fleetwood (2018).
