The course record at Royal Liverpool is 63, which was set by Jon Rahm in the third round of the 2023 Open Championship.

Lowest British Open Round

The lowest British Open round in history is a 62, shot by Branden Grace in the third round of the 2017 event at Royal Birkdale.
