Apart from the “BMF” belt, the winner will likely get an outright shot for the undisputed lightweight title.

Poirier is the slight betting favorite in UFC odds at -145 against Gaethje, who is tagged as the slight betting underdog at +120. This role of the two 155-pound fighters was due to the result of their first meeting in 2018, where “The Diamond” stopped “The Highlight” in the fourth round.
