Six months after the massive upset of Alexa Grasso (16-3) over the long-time division queen Valentina Shevchenko (23-4) in the co-main event of UFC 285, where Grasso submitted Shevchenko in the fourth round via face crank, the two are now scheduled to fight in an immediate rematch this Saturday, Sept.16 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Grasso and Shevchenko will headline the “Noche UFC” event commemorating Mexican Independence Day. Despite being the defending champion, Grasso is tagged as the betting underdog in UFC odds at +140 against the revenge-seeking Shevchenko, who is the betting favorite at -165. The 30-year-old champion wants to secure another victory over “The Bullet” to silence the doubters of her previous victory and continue her reign in the 125-pound division.
Apart from this title fight between Grasso and Shevchenko, other stars who will see action on the card are ranked middleweight contenders Kevin Holland and Jack Della Maddalena, who will co-headline the event. Other fighters of Mexican descent, Raul Rosas Jr. and Tracy Cortez, are also present at the event. Rosas Jr. is scheduled to face Terrence Mitchell in a bantamweight bout, while Cortez faces Jasmine Jasudavicius in a women’s flyweight contest.
