The last time Alabama made the Final Four was 2024. The Crimson Tide lost to UConn, 86-72, in the national semifinal. Alabama was a No. 4 seed, while UConn was a No. 1.

Alabama Final Four History

Alabama has reached the Final Four only once (2024). The Crimson Tide have made the Sweet Sixteen 10 times (11 if you include their 1987 appearance which was vacated by the NCAA) and the Elite Eight twice.ย 

The only other time Alabama reached the Elite Eight was in 2004, where No. 2 UConn defeated the No. 8 Crimson Tide, 87-71.
