CeeDee Lamb led the NFL in 2023 with 135 catches. PFF graded him as the No. 6 wide receiver in the league, virtually tied with other top names like Justin Jefferson.
Dallas had several key contract situations up in the air as the Cowboys enter 2024, but it would have been difficult to let Lamb walk. He’s a major offensive component and a popular fantasy football player. The Dallas Cowboys’ odds market would take a hit if he left in free agency.
That’s why the Cowboys front office went to the ATM in August and produced a major payday for Lamb.
CeeDee Lamb Contract
On Aug. 26, CeeDee Lamb signed a four-year contract extension with the Cowboys worth $136 million. The deal makes Lamb one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
For 2024, Dallas maintains its contractual control over Lamb with the fifth-year team option it exercised in April 2023. The extension will kick in for 2025 and run through 2028.
CeeDee Lamb Signing Bonus
CeeDee Lamb received a $38 million signing bonus after signing his extension.
CeeDee Lamb Salary
Following the extension signing, CeeDee Lamb will make $1.15 million in base salary in 2024. He’ll take home $39.15 million after accounting for his signing bonus.
In 2025, Lamb’s base salary jumps to $26.85 million.
Over the four-year life of the contract extension, Lamb’s average annual salary will be $34 million.
CeeDee Lamb Guaranteed Money
Ceedee Lamb’s contract extension contains $67 million in guaranteed money at signing.
An additional $26 million is guaranteed in March 2025, with another $7 million guaranteed in March 2026. In total, the contract contains provisions for $100 million in guaranteed money.
