Super Bowl LIII was the lowest-scoring NFL championship game of the modern era, with Belichickโ€™s Patriots stifling the Rams in a 13-3 snoozefest.ย

Unsurprisingly, another Super Bowl appearance by the Kansas City Chiefs has not been that low scoring.

It was always going to be hard to match the anticlimactic ending that NFL fans and bettors watched four years ago.

No Super Bowl has ever featured fewer than 16 points; prior to 2019, the previous low mark was 21 points in Super Bowl VII, back in 1973.
