Mike Evans is the model of consistency in the NFL. The veteran receiver has played 10 seasons in the NFL, and he’s posted 10 total 1,000-yard seasons. You can’t do better than perfect.

With Evans finally set to hit free agency this season, a bidding war was expected for the All-Pro. He might be 31 with a history of soft tissue injuries, but he’s also one of the most predictably good receivers in the league.

Evans has posted big stats playing with Jameis Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Baker Mayfield, and 45-year-old Tom Brady. Imagine what he could do on the same team as someone like Patrick Mahomes

Evidently, Evans wasn’t curious. On March 4, news broke that Evans is signing a new contract with the Bucs, staying in Tampa Bay in 2024.

Mike Evans Contract

Mike Evans has agreed in principle to a new contract with the Buccaneers that will keep the All-Pro receiver in Tampa. The new contract is reportedly a two-year deal worth $52 million.

The NFL world is still waiting for precise salary details from Evans’ new contract. What is known is that Evans will make an average annual salary of $26 million over the life of his two-year deal.

In 2023, Mike Evans made $13 million in base salary.

Mike Evans Guaranteed Money

Mike Evans’ new 2024 contract reportedly contains $35 million in guaranteed money.
