The New York Jets’ odds to win Super Bowl LVIII are +1400. Only five NFL teams have shorter odds as the Jets appear on the verge of acquiring Aaron Rodgers.
Minutes after the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII, the Jets opened at +2500 in Super Bowl odds for the 2023-24 season. They were tied with the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Jacksonville Jaguars for the ninth-shortest odds.
In the four weeks since the 2022-23 NFL season ended, the Jets have gradually climbed to +1400. Now they sit behind only the Chiefs (+500), Buffalo Bills (+850), San Francisco 49ers (+850), Cincinnati Bengals (+900), and Philadelphia Eagles (+900).
The Jets haven’t won the Lombardi Trophy since Super Bowl III in January 1969.
The (presumably) Jordan Love-led Packers, meanwhile, have fallen to +3500, tied for the 14th-shortest odds.
Jets AFC Championship Odds
The Jets’ odds to win the AFC Championship are +850, the fourth-shortest in the conference.
Only the Chiefs (+275), Bills (+450), and Bengals (+500) have shorter odds.
The Jets have never won an AFC title. Their lone Super Bowl appearance came before the AFC was founded in 1970.
