NFL Combine Records: Who Holds Record For Each Combine Drill?

The NFL Combine is Feb. 27-March 2 from Indianapolis.

This is where the NFL world gathers for a week, with the main event centered around the 300-plus prospects hoping to hear their name called in the NFL Draft.

These prospects meet with teams, get all their measurements and then go through testing drills on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.

There are six NFL Combine events that most prospects participate in. Here are the records for each event.

NFL Combine 40-Yard Dash Record

The 40-yard dash record belongs to Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy. In 2024, he ran it in 4.21 seconds.

It is a timed event where players sprint in a straight, 40-yard line.

NFL Combine 20-Yard Shuttle Record

The 20-yard shuttle record belongs to former Denver Broncos wide receiver Kevin Kasper. Heย ran the 20-yard shuttle in 3.73 seconds in 2001.

It has players run 20 yards while quickly changing direction.

NFL Combine 60-Yard Shuttle Record

The 60-yard shuttle record belongs to former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Shelton Gibson. Heย ran the 60-yard shuttle in 10.71 seconds in 2017.

It has players run 60 yards while quickly changing direction.

NFL Combine Bench Press Record

The bench press record belongs to former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Stephen Paea. He recorded 49 reps in 2011.

It requires players to bench press 225 pounds as many times as possible.

NFL Combine Vertical Jump Record

The vertical jump record belongs to former Jacksonville Jaguars safety Gerald Sensabaugh. He recorded a 46-inch vertical in 2005.

It has players to jump as high as they can vertically.

NFL Combine Broad Jump Record

The broad jump record belongs to former Dallas Cowboys defensive back Byron Jones. He recorded a 147-inch broad jump in 2015.

It has players jump as far as they can horizontally.
