Russell Wilsonโ€™s two-year playing stint in Denver did not end in glory. He was cut by the Broncos on March 13 amid widespread rumors of locker room discord.ย

Wilson, who turns 36 this season, is no longer the great a playmaker he once was.

Nonetheless, Wilson signed on to join the quarterback room for one of the most consistent organizations in North American professional sports. If heโ€™s got any game left, Mike Tomlin will probably find a way to bring it out of him.

If he doesnโ€™t, 25-year-old Justin Fields might be the quarterback of the future.ย

Russell Wilson Contract

Russell Wilson signed a one-year veteran minimum contract with the Steelers. His contract includes a full no-trade clause.ย

Russell Wilson Salary

Russell Wilson will make $1.21 million in 2024, all of which is structured as base salary.
