Now in his second season with the team, Arthur Smith serves as the Steelers’ offensive coordinator.
Smith joined the Steelers in 2024 after three seasons as the Falcons’ head coach. In those three campaigns, Smith guided Atlanta to a 21-30 record with no playoff appearances.
Before joining Atlanta, Smith worked as the Titans’ offensive coordinator. In his two full seasons leading that offense, the Titans ranked 17th and 28th in offensive DVOA, per ftnfantasy.com.
Most of Smith’s coaching experience came with the Titans. He joined Tennessee prior to the 2011 season and left before the 2021 campaign.
The now 43-year-old primarily coached tight ends before the team elevated him to offensive coordinator.
In his first two years with Tennessee, he worked in defensive quality control and offensive quality control.
Smith also worked with the Washington Redskins between 2007 and 2008 as a defensive quality assistant.
