  • Tails has won the Super Bowl coin toss six of the last nine years.
  • Last year the Chiefs snapped an eight-year streak of the winner of the toss losing the game.

Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs won the coin toss for Super Bowl LVII, correctly picking tails as Carl Cheffers flipped the coin.

They defeated the Eagles 38-35, which snapped a streak of eight straight years where the winner of the coin toss lost the game.

The Chiefs are back this year, taking on the 49ers.

The odds for the Super Bowl coin toss are -105 for heads and -105 for tails.

The odds for the Chiefs to win the toss are -105, and the odds for the 49ers to win the coin toss are -105.

Super Bowl Coin Toss Public Betting Splits

As of Feb. 7, heads is the more popular play. It is drawing 55% of the handle on 54% of the tickets.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are pulling in 52% of the handle on 45% of the tickets to win the toss.
