With Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and several other dynamic players, the Buffalo Bills are poised to have one of the NFL’s best dynamic offenses in 2022, and they’ll be doing so under new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey.
Buffalo saw their former offensive coordinator Brian Daboll get hired as the head coach of the New York Giants, meaning Dorsey is now tasked with keeping the Bills among the NFL betting favorites to win the Super Bowl.
Who is Ken Dorsey?
Ken Dorsey is the Buffalo Bills’ new offensive coordinator. He replaced Brian Daboll, who left after the 2021 season to become the New York Giants’ head coach.
Dorsey, a 41-year-old former NFL quarterback, will be a first-time offensive coordinator at any level after serving as the Bills’ quarterbacks coach since 2019. He was also passing game coordinator in 2021.
The California native was an All-American and two-time Archie Griffin Award winner at Miami, where he led the Hurricanes to the BCS national championship in 2001.
He was later drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round in the 2003 NFL Draft, which ultimately saw him suit up for the 49ers and Cleveland Browns in the NFL before shifting gears and playing quarterback for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League.
Before being the Bills’ quarterbacks coach in 2019, Dorsey was an assistant athletics director at FIU (2018), Carolina Panthers quarterbacks coach (2013-17), and Panthers’ scout (2011-12).
