Tampa Bay Lightning at Boston Bruins – Saturday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. ET – NHL Network
Boston will host Tampa Bay on Saturday afternoon. Week after week, the league’s best Bruins are the most dominant team to take the ice. Heading into the weekend, they have won four straight games and are the only team to clinch a postseason berth. The Lightning are currently third in the Atlantic Division, only three points behind the second-place Toronto Maple Leafs.
Washington Capitals at Pittsburgh Penguins – Saturday, March 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET – ABC, ESPN+
Saturday evening features two Eastern Conference wild card contenders: the Capitals and the Penguins. If the season ended today, the Islanders and Panthers would lock down the two wild card spots. However, Washington and Pittsburgh remain in the hunt and have a shot at climbing back up the standings. The Capitals are just five points behind the Penguins and could pull ahead if they make a late-season run.
Toronto Maple Leafs at Nashville Predators – Sunday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. ET – TNT
On Sunday evening, the Leafs will travel south to take on the Predators. If there’s one word to describe both of these teams since the trade deadline, it’s inconsistent. While Toronto has maintained second place in the division, they’ve suffered some tough losses over the past few weeks, including a 7-2 drubbing by the Islanders and a shootout loss to the Avalanche. Before last night’s win in Buffalo, the Predators had lost three in a row, including a 7-0 shutout to the Rangers. With playoffs just around the corner, this weekend is an opportunity for these teams to get back on track as the end of the season draws near.
