Saturday afternoon features two of the West’s top teams: the Golden Knights and Stars. Each team has already punched a ticket to the postseason. However, the playoff race is incredibly tight, and seeds are not locked in.
Dallas has a shot at clinching the Central Division title, but it will take wins in most of their final five regular season games.
Vegas is the most formidable opponent they will meet during this stretch, so a win on Saturday would provide much-needed momentum as the season draws to a close.
New Jersey Devils at Boston Bruins

The league’s best Bruins will host the Devils on Saturday evening.
The B’s locked down their playoff spot nearly a month ago and have already secured the Presidents’ Trophy. The Devils are also headed to the postseason as the Metropolitan Division’s second seed. For both teams, the goal for the remainder of the season should be to finish strong and without injury. Still, there are milestones to be made.
The Bruins have a shot at beating the league record (62) for regular season wins, and forward David Pastrnak is four goals short of 60 with five games left. Currently, Phil Esposito is the only Bruin to achieve that feat.
Colorado Avalanche at Los Angeles Kings

The Avalanche will travel west on Sunday evening to take on the Kings.
This will be the final of three matchups between the two teams this season. Last time, Adrian Kempe and Phillip Danault each added two goals in the Kings’ 5-2 victory. Fans can expect another exciting matchup, as both teams are headed to the postseason in a few short weeks. This weekend’s contest will be a preview of the playoff hockey that is just around the corner.
