When Is The Masters 2025? Start Times, TV Schedule & How to Watch

The 2025 Masters tournament is set to begin on Thursday, April 10 from Augusta National Golf Club. 

Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is the favorite to win the tournament based on Masters odds. A win for Scheffler would mark his second straight and third win in the last four years. 

Below, both viewers and bettors alike can find viewing information, start times, and the TV schedule for the year’s first major championship. 

What Channel is The Masters On? 

The first two rounds of The Masters feature on ESPN with additional coverage provided on ESPN+. 

Coverage on linear television begins at 3 p.m. ET for the opening two rounds and continues through 7:30 p.m. ET. 

For the weekend, coverage shifts from ESPN to CBS. 

Viewers can enjoy coverage of the tournament from 12-2 p.m. ET on Paramount+. Then, coverage continues on local CBS affiliates from 2-7 p.m. ET. 

When Does The Masters Start? 

The 2025 Masters begins on Thursday, April 10, with the first players scheduled to tee off at 7:40 a.m. ET on Thursday. 

Opening round tee times continue through 1:45 p.m. ET on Thursday with the schedule repeating itself on Friday. 

After the Friday Masters cut line is determined, tee times are scheduled for Saturday, with a new set of tee times determined for Sunday following the conclusion of the third round.

Thursday, April 10

The Masters TV coverage can be viewed from 3-7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. 

Additional coverage can be viewed on both Masters.com and Paramount+ for the opening round. 

As an example, featured groups are viewable between 9:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET, along with coverage of holes 4-6, 15-16 and Amen Corner. 

To view the tee shots from honorary starters Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson, viewers should head to Paramount+ or Masters.com at 7:30 a.m. ET. 

Friday, April 11

Coverage for Friday’s second round closely resembles that of Thursday’s opening round. 

Viewers once again have the option of featured groups or hole groupings on Masters.com and Paramount+. 

Featured groups coverage begins at 9:15 a.m., while starting times for the three-hole groups range from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. ET. 

The second round TV schedule begins on ESPN at 3 p.m. and continues to 7:30 p.m. ET. 

Saturday, April 12

Viewers once again have the option for featured groups and holes with later start times than Thursday and Friday. 

Featured groups coverage begins at 10:15 a.m. and continues to 7 p.m. ET. Coverage of the three-hole groupings start at 10:30 a.m. (4-6), 11:45 a.m. (Amen Corner) and 12:30 p.m. (15-16). 

Third round coverage is available at 12 p.m. ET on Paramount+ and switches over to CBS at 2 p.m. ET. 

Sunday, April 13

Final round coverage mirrors the coverage provided to viewers on Saturday. 

Featured groups get underway at 10:15 a.m. ET with the three-hole groups available at the same starting times as in round three. 

Coverage of the final round starts at 12 p.m. ET on Paramount+ and makes the switch to CBS at 2 p.m. ET. 

Coverage of the final round continues until 7 p.m. ET and is followed by the green jacket ceremony. 

What Time Does The Masters Start? 

The 2025 Masters starts at 7:30 a.m. ET on Thursday with the honorary starters ceremony. 

Round 1 tee times are scheduled beginning at 7:40 a.m. ET on Thursday morning with the final group teeing off at 1:45 p.m. ET. 

Second round tee times begin at the same time, with the final group teeing off at 1:45 p.m. ET.
