The PGA Tour was back in Texas for The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, May 1-4.

TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney hosted the tournament for the fifth consecutive season after moving The CJ Cup Byron Nelson there in 2021.

While not a PGA Tour signature event, a number of stars were in the field, including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

Scheffler won for the first time this season, blowing the field away, winning by eight strokes. His 31-under score tied a PGA Tour record for the lowest 72-hole score.

The event had a $9.9 million purse.
