After not being held during the 2023 calendar year, the Texas Children’s Houston Open was March 28-31 from Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston. In the past it has been held in the fall.
It was not a PGA Tour signature event, but several big names were in the field, including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark, Will Zalatoris and the 2022 winner Tony Finau.
In the end, Stephan Jaeger held off Scheffler to claim his first career PGA Tour win by one shot. He finished at 12-under, while five players finished at 11-under.
The purse was $9.1 million.
