As of May 24, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ odds to win the World Series in 2023 are +500, tied with the Atlanta Braves for first place and just ahead of the Tampa Bay Rays (+650) and Houston Astros (+700).
Prior to Opening Day, the online sportsbook had the Dodgers leading World Series odds at +500, with the Astros (+700) just behind them. Their odds dropped off as they struggled at the very start of the season, but as they pushed back to lead the NL East, the Dodgers’ odds changed accordingly to see them back leading MLB as favorites to win.

The Dodgers have won seven World Series titles in their franchise’s history — 1955, 1959, 1963, 1965, 1981, 1988, and 2020.
Then based in Brooklyn, the Dodgers won their first World Series title in 1955, beating the New York Yankees in seven games. The Dodgers moved to Los Angeles in 1958 and won their second World Series title the following season (1959), beating the Chicago White Sox in six games. The 1959 World Series was the first in MLB history to be played on the West Coast, and the second to be won win Alston as manager.
