The Seattle Mariners are the only MLB team that hasn’t appeared in the World Series.
While there are six MLB teams that have never won a World Series, the Mariners are the only active MLB team without an appearance.
In 2022, the Mariners clinched a Wild Card spot to advance to the playoffs. Despite being the underdog, the team won the Wild Card Series against the Toronto Blue Jays to advance to the American League Division Series but were ultimately eliminated by the Houston Astros.
They missed the 2023 postseason, ensuring they’d remain the lone team without an Series appearance for at least one more year.
