The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets in an epic seven-game series during the second round of the 2024 playoffs.

Prior to 2024, Minnesota last won a playoff series all the way back in 2004. Minnesota beat the Sacramento Kings 4-2 in the second round and advanced to play the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference finals.

Have the Timberwolves Ever Reached the NBA Finals?

No, the Timberwolves have not made the NBA Finals since their introduction to the NBA in 1989.

The 2004 season is the only year (prior to 2024) Minnesota had won a playoff series.
