Multiple NBA teams are looking to contend for the championship this season, while others are just looking to qualify for the postseason.

NBA championship odds constantly change throughout the year.

Whether it’s the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, or Milwaukee Bucks, the playoffs aren’t the end goal, while others, such as the Sacramento Kings or Indiana Pacers, are hoping to sneak in and do damage.

7Minnesota Timberwolves (39-38)
8Los Angeles Lakers (38-38)
9New Orleans Pelicans (38-38)
10Oklahoma City Thunder (38-39)

The Milwaukee Bucks have clinched the Central Division and have their sights set on the top seed in the Eastern Conference.  Milwaukee has a three-game lead over the Boston Celtics for the top spot in the East, going into play Thursday.

A team to watch down the stretch might be the Toronto Raptors, who had another good week and are climbing the standings. Toronto’s won three straight, beating Detroit, Washington, and Miami. The Raps can move up as high as the sixth seed in the East.

Out West, the Denver Nuggets are back on track after a difficult start to March. They’ve doubled their win streak over the last week, winning four straight games, and hold a 3.5-game lead over the Memphis Grizzlies atop the Western Conference.

The Grizzlies are among the hottest teams in the NBA in the back half of the month, winning seven of their last eight and clinching the Southwest Division. An 8-2 stretch over their last 10 games has them closing in on Denver, but they might run out of track with the season’s end quickly approaching.
