Clippers vs. Mavericks Prediction, Odds, Pick: NBA Playoffs, Game 6

The Dallas Mavericks will host the Los Angeles Clippers in Friday’s Game 6 with a chance to win the Western Conference playoffs’ opening-round series.

Luka Dončić led the Mavs to a decisive 123-93 victory in Game 5, giving them a 3-2 series lead. He tallied 35 points on 14-of-26 shooting, 10 assists, and seven rebounds.

Dallas can now clinch a series victory over Los Angeles after being eliminated by the same team in two of its previous three playoff appearances.

The Mavericks are 7.5-points favorites in an elimination game against the Clippers.

Here’s a look at the NBA playoff odds and my Game 6 prediction.

Prediction: Luka Dončić Under 9.5 Rebounds (-105)

My best NBA betting pick for Game 1 was over 8.5 rebounds for Dončić at a reasonable price. He grabbed 13 boards in the loss.

The line has since traded at 9.5 for the rest of the series, but he hasn’t come close to his output in the opener.

Dončić has finished with 33 rebounds over the last four games for an average of 8.25 boards per contest. He has finished below 9.5 rebounds in two different outings.

With a chance to send the Clippers home, bettors will be eager to back Dončić in every way. But I prefer targeting his scoring or assists prop, especially after he grabbed just seven rebounds last time out.

Thanks to a projection closer to 8.5 rebounds, this under has value at -120 or better.
