The NBA In-Season Tournament is the newest addition to the 2023-24 season, where all 30 teams in the league will vie for the inaugural title played between Nov. 3 and Dec. 9, 2023. This is an added event by the league to increase revenue and viewership. The tournament also allows fans to bet on their favorite teams via NBA odds.

What’s the NBA In-Season Tournament Format?

The NBA In-Season Tournament features Group Play and Knockout Rounds. Teams in each conference are divided into three groups with five teams each and will play each other. The team with the most wins after all the group play games will advance to the Knockout Rounds.

The Knockout Rounds will have the six best teams out of the group and two “wild card” teams that will play a single-elimination game from the quarterfinals to the championship. The semifinals and championship games were played inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

What’s the NBA In-Season Tournament Schedule?

Group Play began on Nov. 3 and ended on Nov. 28.
