Will Virginia Make the NCAA Tournament?

Virginia is a bubble team that will be sweating out its fate on Selection Sunday. UVA may not make the NCAA Tournament.

The Cavaliers are 4-5 since Feb. 13 and needed overtime to get past No. 11 seed Boston College in their first game of the ACC basketball tournament. The next day, they lost to NC State, who went on to win the tournament and the ACC’s automatic bid.

NC State was not a projected tournament team, and that bid steal may come back to haunt Virginia in a very direct way on Selection Sunday. Many projections have UVA as one of the first teams out of the field of 68.
