For the 2025 NFL season, Mitch Trubisky will serve as Josh Allenโ€™s backup in Buffalo.ย 

Trubisky joined the Bills prior to the start of the 2024 NFL season. He has yet to make a start for the Bills after making 57 starts with the Bears and Steelers in prior seasons.ย 

The North Carolina product appeared in nine games for the Bills last season, mostly in blowout wins or losses. While not technically a start, Trubisky played most of Buffaloโ€™s Week 18 game.ย

Trubisky posted a 27-27-3 ATS record in his career, along with a 31-26 SU record in qualifying starts.ย 

From an ATS standpoint, Trubisky generally performed better as a market underdog. In 30 starts as a dog, Trubisky finished 16-12-2 ATS, including 10-2-2 at +3.5 or shorter.ย

Prior to the start of the 2024 season, Trubisky signed a two-year, $5.25 million contract with $3.71 million guaranteed.ย 

For the 2025 season, Trubisky is scheduled to earn $2.46 million in base salary and count $3.25 million against the cap. That latter figure takes up 1.2% of Buffaloโ€™s cap room.ย
