For the third straight season, Matt Nagy will serve as the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive coordinator.
Nagy re-joined Kansas City as the offensive coordinator following four seasons as the Bears’ head coach. In his tenure with Chicago, Nagy finished 34-31 with a single playoff appearance.
In 2022, Nagy served as the Chiefs’ quarterbacks coach. That began his second spell as a member of Andy Reid’s coaching staff.
Prior to accepting the Bears’ head coaching job, Nagy spent five seasons with Kansas City. For the first four seasons (2013-16), he worked as the quarterbacks coach.
In his final season before Chicago, Nagy worked as the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator.
Nagy started his career with Reid in Philadelphia as a coaching intern and assistant. For his final two years in Philly, he worked in offensive quality control.
Last season, Nagy’s offense ranked eighth in offensive DVOA, according to ftnfantasy.com. It marks the third year in a row the Chiefs ranked 10th or better offensively.
