My prediction for Falcons vs. Chiefs on Sunday Night Football is Patrick Mahomes Over 35.5 Passing Attempts (-115).
The concern here is that Mahomes has stayed under this number in two straight games and faces a Falcons team that is decent against the pass.
But Isiah Pacheco is out for Kansas City.
Last season, Pacheco missed two games for Kansas City. In those contests, Mahomes cleared this number both times, including a 37-attempt game in a victory.
Irrespective of whether Pacheco plays or not, Mahomes has a strong history at clearing this number.
Dating back to last season, Mahomes has cleared this number in 10 of 18 regular season games and 13 of 22 in both the regular and postseason.
Add in he’s facing a Falcons team playing on short rest, and I’ll take the over on Mahomes attempts against a unit whose quality I question.
