Last Time the Vikings Made the Super Bowl

The Minnesota Vikings last made the Super Bowl in 1976; they lost Super Bowl XI to the Oakland Raiders 32-14.

The defeat was the fourth Super Bowl loss for the Vikings in a seven-year stretch. They also lost in 1974, 1973, and 1969. The Vikings have not been back to the Super Bowl since that loss.

The Vikings are among 12 teams that have never to win the Super Bowl.
