  • The Packers are a 5-point home favorite against the Cardinals.
  • The Cardinals have lost each of their last 11 games following a win.
  • My Packers vs. Cardinals prediction is a Same Game Parlay.

Fresh off a shock road win over the 49ers, the Cardinals travel to Lambeau Field for a matchup with the Green Bay Packers.ย

Arizonaโ€™s win over San Francisco moves the Cardinals to 2-3. Entering Week 6, they sit second in the NFC West behind only the 3-2 Seahawks.ย

Green Bay sits at 3-2 through five games. Last week, Jordan Love guided the Packers to a win and cover against the Los Angeles Rams.ย

Packers vs. Cardinals Prediction: Same Game Parlay

My Same Game Parlay prediction for Packers vs. Cardinals is Packers Moneyline & First Quarter Over 9.5 Points (+135).ย

Arizona captured a shock upset win in San Francisco last week. History suggests theyโ€™re unlikely to repeat that feat in Green Bay.ย

Since 2003, underdogs at +5 or higher off a win at +5 or higher are 23-138-1 SU in the next game.ย

When that win came by eight or fewer points, those underdogs fall to 11-95-1 (10.4%).ย

The good news with Arizona? It excels offensively in the first quarter.ย

The Cardinals are second in first quarter points per game through five weeks and lead the league in first quarter EPA per play.ย

Green Bay is an interesting case study early. The Packers rank ninth in EPA per play for the first 15 minutes compared to 30th in first quarter success rate.ย

At the same time, Arizonaโ€™s defense has struggled early.ย

The Cardinals rank 27th in first quarter EPA per play and 31st in first quarter success rate.ย

Pair those with their offensive trends, and itโ€™s unsurprising that four of five first quarters have cleared the total.ย

Add in Green Bay is 3-2 to the over in the first quarter, and Iโ€™ll pair this leg with the Packers moneyline.

Because of Green Bay’s injury concerns at corner, my second Packers vs. Cardinals player prop prediction is Marvin Harrison Jr. Over 54.5 Receiving Yards (-115).ย

This rates out a great buy-low spot on Harrison, who has stayed under this number in two consecutive contests.ย

However, he goes from facing a 49ers team fourth in PFFโ€™s coverage grades to a Packers team 15th in that metric.ย

Even more concerning for Green Bay? Thereโ€™s a risk Jaire Alexander doesnโ€™t play on Sunday. Alexander is currently the only Packers corner with a coverage grade higher than 57.1.ย

Plus, Harrison tends to attract loads of targets against man coverage. This season, he owns a 34.2% target share vs. man, which is the highest on Arizona by 17.5%.ย

Add in the potential negative game script for underdogs Arizona, and Iโ€™ll take Harrison to clear a low number against a bad Packers secondary.
