Kirk Cousins was the eighth quarterback selected in the 2012 NFL Draft. Washington selected him in the fourth round with the 102nd overall pick.

The prospects drafted ahead of him have posted a wide array of career results. Two have won Super Bowls; four are no longer in the NFL.

The 2012 quarterback class was famously beloved at the time, with Andrew Luck and Heisman winner Robert Griffin III going back-to-back at the top of the draft.

Russell Wilson and Nick Foles were both drafted in the third round.ย
