The Cleveland Cavaliers last won a playoff series in 2018, when they won the Eastern Conference finals in LeBron James’ final year in Cleveland.

It was the fourth consecutive year the Cavaliers won the East.

Last Time the Cavs Won a Playoff Series Without LeBron

The last playoff series the Cavaliers won without LeBron was in 1993, when Cleveland beat the then-New Jersey (now Brooklyn) Nets 3-2 and advanced to play Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls in the second round of the playoffs.

At the time, first-round playoff series were Best-of-5.
