Big East Tournament Prediction

UConn (-165) will win the Big East men’s basketball tournament and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

While Creighton (+375) is capable of beating the Huskies – something we saw in Omaha back on Feb. 20 – I’m not banking on a second upset in the “neutral” territory of New York City.

How likely is a UConn tournament title? Let’s put it this way. BetMGM currently has a Big East Tournament prop where you can bet either UConn (-165) or the field (+140). I know which side I’d rather have.

Battle of the Bubble Teams

The far more interesting part of this year’s Big East men’s basketball tournament is the bubble watch. Seton Hall, St. John’s, Villanova, and Providence are all scattered near the tournament cutting line and looking to solidify their respective positions.

Seton Hall is probably in; Providence is probably out. The rest will be determined this week at MSG.
