Fresh off their Week 5 bye week, the Rams look to end a two-game losing streak against the lowly Raiders.
Los Angeles fell 24-19 as home underdogs to Green Bay before its bye week and now sits at 1-4 through five games. However, this marks the first game they’re a market favorite.
Las Vegas is equally troubled in terms of results. The Raiders, who traded Davante Adams on Tuesday, sit at 2-4 after consecutive losses to Pittsburgh and Denver.

Rams vs. Raiders Prediction
Based on Los Angeles’s extended rest and the Raiders anemic offensive metrics, my Rams vs. Raiders prediction is to tease the Rams down to -0.5.
While the Rams’ underlying metrics are concerning – 20th in PFF’s offensive grades, 27th in defensive grades – they’ve faced a brutal schedule thus far.
Accordingly, I don’t place much stock into that data. What I do value is the fact the Rams are fourth in rushing EPA per play and first in rushing success rate, per rbsdm.com.
That gives them a favorable matchup against the Raiders, which sit 27th and 21st in the corresponding defensive metrics.
Last week, Las Vegas surrendered 183 rushing yards to the Steelers. That marked the fourth time this season opponents rushed for 130 or more yards.
Dating back to last season, the Rams are 8-3 SU when Kyren Williams rushes for more than 85 yards.
Maybe that’s an oversimplification, but I expect the Rams dominate a weak Vegas front seven.
While it’s concerning the Rams are 31st in defensive EPA per play, this marks LA’s first game against a team 25th or worse in the corresponding offensive category.
History also suggests the Rams cover the spread here with a teaser victory far likelier.
Since 2003, favorites with 14-15 days between games priced between -9 and -6 are 45-30-1 ATS and 60-16 against a six-point teaser.

In tandem with this Week 7 prediction, I’m grabbing the Raiders Under 5.5 Wins (-120).
The Davante Adams trade leaves Las Vegas with no skill players I trust. Additionally, the rest of the Raiders’ schedule is brutal.
If Las Vegas closes an underdog in Week 12 against the Broncos at home, it means they’ll close a market underdog in all remaining games based on lookahead lines.
Plus, there’s a clear trend with this Raiders team. When they lose the turnover battle, they lose the game.
Dating back to last season, Las Vegas is 2-10 SU when they lose the turnover battle outright.
If you trust an offense led by Luke Getsy with either Aidan O’Connell or Gardner Minshew featuring a group of reject skill players to not turn the ball over, by all means bet the over.
But this team has yet to win the turnover battle this season with the ideal version of their roster. With a weaker unit, take the live under on Las Vegas’ win total.
