What Does NRFI Mean?
NRFI means for “no run first inning,” meaning no runs will be scored in the first inning by either team.
If one team scores at least one run — earned or unearned — a NRFI bet loses.
For example: If the Marlins’ NRFI record this week is 5-1, they played had five games with zero first-inning runs and one game with at least one first-inning run.
What Does YRFI Mean?
YRFI means “yes run first inning,” meaning at least one run will be scored in the first inning by either team.
If one team scored at least one run, a YRFI bet loses.
